Network Analysis

by Prof. Kunal Sawalakhe

Course Objectives: To provide the key concepts and tools in a logical sequence to analyze and understand electrical circuits.

Prerequisites: Higher secondary mathematical concepts such as solution of ordinary differential equations, matrix algebra and elementary concepts of physics such as electricity and magnetism.

Course Outcomes:
After the completion of the course, students will be able to:
CO 1: apply the knowledge of basic circuital law and simplify the network using loop (mesh) analysis techniques.
CO 2: Analyze the network using node analysis techniques and Determine the parameters.
CO 3: Analyze the circuit using  Kirchhoff’s law and  Network simplification theorems.
CO 4: Find out the initial & final conditions and analyze the network in frequency domain with different input signals using Laplace Transform.
CO 5: Understand the transient behavior of the given system using pole-zero concept and Determine the response of a circuit.
CO 6: Determine the parameters of Two-port network and analyze the power flow in Three-phase unbalanced system.
